“Something” for Big Band – Score and Parts

Here is the classical Beatles tune, “Something.” This was written for Miguel Zenón and the UNF Jazz Ensemble 1. It’s a beautiful, poignant arrangement, with lots of color.

“Something in the way she moves
Attracts me like no other lover
Something in the way she woos me

I don’t want to leave her now
You know I believe and how

Somewhere in her smile she knows
That I don’t need no other lover
Something in her style that shows me

Don’t want to leave her now
You know I believe and how
You’re asking me will my love grow
I don’t know, I don’t know
You stick around now it may show
I don’t know, I don’t know

Something in the way she knows
And all I have to do is think of her
Something in the things she shows me

Don’t want to leave her now
You know I believe and how”
